The principal features at the Davidson Point site are these three heavily overgrown Thule winter houses, which face southwest. This photo shows the houses viewed from the northwest at the start of the 1997 field season. House 1, on the left, had been excavated and then backfilled the previous year. When this picture was taken Houses 2 and 3 had not yet been excavated.
