Fieldwork: A device referred to as a bipod is used to take overhead photographs before and during the excavation of houses and tentrings. It has two long legs and ropes to stabilize it. A camera is mounted in a holder and then hoisted to the top of the bipod. A long cable release is used to take the photo.
